Game Forlag

Game Forlag publishes social books, quizzes, and tabletop games from Norway. We make games for curious people: things to bring to the table, play with friends, or take with you on a journey.

Our published titles include the introductory fantasy roleplaying game Tale RPG; Kvad, a Viking-age roleplaying game inspired by the sagas; and Heartstrings, a romantic card game for awkward people. 

We have also published quiz books and pocket quizzes on comics, the outdoors, cycling, football, cars, video games, and Norwegian places including Telemark, Grenland, Vestfold, Bergen, Oslo, Kristiansand, and Fredrikstad.

Alongside our larger roleplaying games and quiz books, our Mini Games are compact one-page experiences for worldbuilding, storytelling, and journaling. Each one is easy to bring along, quick to begin, and designed to leave you with ideas worth keeping.
